I’m very excited to announce that my image, “Sunset Reflections: Hope” was chosen as Best in Show and 1st place in the Sweeping Vistas category in the KMTA National Heritage Area photo contest.
If you’re in Anchorage this Friday (11/1/19), head on over to the Anchorage Museum for First Friday to see all the winners on display for the kick off of Wilderness Week! There were some pretty amazing entries.
If you’re not familiar with KMTA National Heritage Area, head on over to their site to learn more. And while you may not know them by name, if you live and play in this area, you’ve likely seen some of their work. Like the “Alaska App” mobile tour guide, the Slab of History in Cooper landing, the Moose Pass Estes water wheel repair and the Seward Mural project. They also offer teacher resources for field trips.
